Plumbing done the way you'd do it on a slow Sunday.

Unhurried, careful work in lived-in homes. We quote in writing before we pick up a tool, lay down covers before we open a cabinet, and leave the room the way we found it — only drier.

Room by room

Find your problem by the room it's in.

Most calls start with "something under the sink" or "the shower's gone cold". Start with the room and you'll usually find the job listed.

  • Outside taps fitted or frost-proofed
  • Gutter downpipes that overflow
  • Stop tap located, freed or replaced

Put a few of these together and we'll do them in one visit.

  • Replace flexible tap connectors
  • Add an isolation valve
  • Box in exposed pipes
  • Check a noisy or banging pipe
A visit, in order

What happens from request to dry floor.

The same four steps every time, so you know what to expect before we knock.

  1. 01

    You describe it

Tell us the room, what you've noticed and when suits you. Photos help but aren't needed.

  2. 02

    We confirm a slot

We reply with an arrival window, including weekend options, and ask anything we need to bring the right parts.

  3. 03

    Look, then quote

On arrival we cover the floor, find the cause and give you a written price before any work begins.

  4. 04

    Fix and tidy

We finish the job, test it with you watching, and take the old parts and packaging away.

Questions

Things people ask before booking.

Do weekend visits cost more?

Weekend slots are part of our normal week, so they're quoted the same way as any other day. We'll confirm the price in writing before starting.

Can you give a price without seeing it?

For simple, clearly described jobs we can often give a guide price by reply. Anything hidden behind a panel or under a floor needs a look first.

Will there be mess?

We lay dust sheets and cabinet mats before opening anything up, and we clean up and remove old parts before we leave.

Do you supply the parts?

Yes, we carry common washers, valves and connectors. If you'd rather choose a specific tap or fitting yourself, tell us the model and we'll fit it.

How fast can you come for a leak?

Mark your request as urgent and we'll reply with the earliest window we have. In the meantime, turn off the stop tap to limit damage.

I'm a landlord — can a tenant let you in?

Yes. Add the tenant's name to the request and we'll arrange access with them directly and send the quote and summary to you.

Request a visit

Tell us the room and the trouble.

We'll reply by email with an arrival window and any questions about parts.

  • Weekday and weekend windows
  • Written quote before work begins
  • Old parts taken away

We only use these details to reply about your visit.
